Postnatal Care Service
Those first weeks at home with a new baby can be a daunting experience.
We recognise that sometimes women and families require additional postnatal care, particularly if they have chosen not to have a dedicated midwife for labour and birth. We are able to offer an individualised postnatal care service.
Postnatal Care includes:
- An antenatal appointment to plan your postnatal care
- 24 hour on-call for the first 3 days following birth
- 10 unhurried postnatal visits (includes bathing and baby care skills and focused care on you as new parents) spread over 4 weeks
- Dedicated breastfeeding support
