Our Philosophy
Pregnancy and birth is a unique, life changing experience, during which time women should be cared for and supported in a holistic and women-centred way.
The North Surrey Midwives are passionate and committed, fulfilling a vocation to be ‘with woman’.
We strongly believe in women’s innate ability to birth their babies and that birth is a normal and empowering process. We envisage that all women should be supported to birth their babies in a unique and triumphant way (regardless of mode of birth), with love and support to prepare them on their parenting journey.
