"Thank you so much for caring for us. We LOVED having you as our midwife. You are amazing - so full of information, understanding and support. "
Eliza & Paul, Parents to Simeon and Toby

For as long as I can remember, pregnant women and pregnancy have fascinated me and during my first pregnancy it was clear that midwifery was where my heart was; however, it was not until the birth of my third child - a wonderful ‘rite of passage’ and a fantastic home birth - that I could no longer avoid my vocation to be ‘with woman’.
During my midwifery training, I had the privilege of attending midwifery workshops at ‘The Farm’, home of Ina May Gaskin and ‘Spiritual Midwifery’, which was - and still is - my inspiration, keeping strong my deep belief in women’s ability to birth their babies. Upon qualifying, I chose to work outside of the NHS so that I could practice holistic, one-to-one midwifery care and have only ever practiced independently.
I have 3 energetic and loving children, two cats, and most importantly, a wonderful and supportive husband who is as passionate about midwifery as I am! We live in Shepperton, Middlesex.
I am an NCT trained antenatal teacher
I am a member of IM UK, the RCM the RCN, the ARM, and AIMS.
Very occasionally, we need to use the services of an additional midwife. Our back-up midwives have the same philosophies as we do, work well with us and are passionate about the care they give.
